How To Become Malaysian Seaman and start your career at sea?

To become a Merchant Seaman from lower rank as Rating ,what you need is-

   Get your medical check up from recognized Malaysian Marine Department  -you must be healthy and fit.
   - Get your Malaysian Seaman Card from Malaysian Marine Department Office ( HEPP )
   - Get your Malaysian discharge Book from Marine Department ( HEPP)
   - Get your Basic Safety Trainning STCW 95 course with recognized by Marine Department Malaysia

        BST course shall take 5 days and the certs will be issue by MARDEP ( Malaysian Marine Department)
The course fees is about RM 1000.
